PROFESSIONAL

School Psychologist

Full-Time & Part-Time Custodians

Full-time Custodian Position
  • Benefits include PA State employee retirement, Health Insurance with minimal employee contribution, vision insurance*, dental* and life* insurance for full-time custodian (*at no cost to the employee).  Spouse and children are also covered.  There is also a Pennsylvania State Employees Retirement Plan.
  • Paid Days Off: 23 days in the first year of employment. 33 days in the second year. These totals include a combination of holidays, sick days, personal days, and vacation days.
  • Schedule: 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Summer Hours: 5:30am to 3:00pm with Fridays off.
  • Starting hourly rate:  $13.50 per hour
  • Will be required to provide FBI clearance, state police background check, and child abuse clearances if selected as the successful candidate.

The Upper Dauphin Area School District has an urgent need for substitute teachers.

Daily Rate is $150.00 for the full day and $97.50 for one half-day. Part-Time Substitute Teachers

The Upper Dauphin Area School District is seeking part-time substitute teachers for Pre-K through Grade 12.  Substitute teachers are expected to implement the daily instructional plans of the classroom teacher, maintain a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth, and establish rapport with students while maintaining proper classroom management.  All applicants will be scheduled to work four days during a normal five-day school week.  Teaching certificate or bachelor’s degree required.  Please contact Lisa Adams at (717) 362-6553 or by email adamsl@udasd.org.

Act 34 – The Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check: The PA State Police use a web-based computer application for which you must use a credit card to pay the fee. The result will not be mailed. You must return to the ePatch site and print your criminal history check results.
Act 151 – Department of Human Services Child Abuse Report: Under Child Welfare Portal click on create a new account. Follow the steps to create a new account. You will receive an email with your password. Follow the Directions to complete your request. You can request your certificate by mail. Please provide your original certificate to the District Office (a copy will be made and your original certificate will be given back to you)
Act 114 – FBI Criminal History Report: Applicants are required to complete pre-enrollment in the new Universal Enrollment system.  The registration website is available online 24 hours/day, seven days per week at https://uenroll.identogo.com  Telephonic registration is available at 1-844-321-2101 Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm EST. When registering on-line, an applicant must use the appropriate agency specific Service Code.  The service code for school employment is 1KG6XN.  Please provide your Universal Enrollment Identification Number, your Social Security Number, and your Transaction Number to the District Office.
