Welcome Back to School 2023-2024!
We’re excited to have you back! Please check out the information below in preparation for the first day of school. If you have further questions, please contact the listed person, or your building’s office.
Transportation:
Your student’s bus stop information is available through the Sapphire Community Portal (Questions on the SCP? Read more about the SCP here). You can login and find the Transportation Letter under Reports > Letters. If you have questions or need to change your student’s bus stop, please contact Lauren Stoner, Communications & Information Coordinator at 717-362-6556 or stonerl@udasd.org. Please note that high school students living in the Elizabethville Borough are considered within walking distance and will not be assigned a bus.
Remember to be to your bus stop 10 minutes early to be sure you don’t miss the bus! Bus stop times can fluctuate due to the number of students on the bus and traffic.
Cafeteria:
Apply online for Free/Reduced meals to see if your students qualify. Information for free and reduced meals, the UDA Point of Sales system, payment options, and more are all available under Support Services > Cafeteria Services.

Students can view their course schedules through their Sapphire Community Portal (SCP) account. Use the link to login, then choose Current Schedule from the Student Backpack Menu.

Use the link to login, then choose Student Data Forms from the Student Backpack menu. A list of Forms Awaiting Completion will be listed at the top of the page. Please complete all forms listed under Forms Awaiting Completion.
Forms listed under On Demand Forms are forms that you only need to complete if they apply to you. Absence Excuse and Early Dismissal Excuse forms are listed under On Demand Forms as well as Educational Trip forms, Extracurricular forms, Permission to Drive/Park at UDA form, and the Image Release form.

Open House/Back to School Info:
UDAES Open House (Grades 1st-4th) August 23rd, 6:30pm-8:00pm.
First Day of School:
August 21, 2023 is the first day of school for 1st-4th grades.
Kindergarten Orientation is August 21, 2023 at 10:00am. Do not send your kindergarten student on the bus on the 22nd. Bring them with you for orientation. You’ll get to meet the teacher, see the classroom, and learn more about what to expect for the school year. Kindergarten’s first official day is August 22, 2023.
